Mohair Socks - the essential luxury

Mohair is the long, silky fibre produced by Angora goats.
It’s renowned softness, warmth & luxuriously rich lustre combine with amazing strength & durability making it a true ‘essential luxury’ when made into socks.

Mohair Socks are a product that every self respecting pair of feet need, and as many of our happy customers have said: "Once you have worn Mohair socks, you will never be without them again".

THE MAGIC OF MOHAIR . . . Mohair Socks are the most comfortable & luxurious socks you will ever wear!

  • A hollow fibre (unlike wool), Mohair has excellent insulating properties, keeping you warm in winter & cool in summer

  • Mohair socks are very durable & hard wearing

  • Mohair is a naturally anti-bacterial fibre - so your socks will not smell & you can wear them for longer than normal socks

  • Mohair has excellent ‘wicking’ properties - moisture is drawn away from your feet keeping them as dry as possible

  • Mohair socks are fully machine washable at 40ºC

Dear Customers,

We are very pleased to let you know that for the forthcoming season we will be adding new products to our range.

To compliment our mohair socks and throws we will also have a beautiful and practical collection of hats, gloves and scarves made from cashmere knitted in Scotland, and we will also have some more unusual scarves and knitwear from Argentina made from blends of wool and mohair, wool and Alpaca and wool and Guanaco ( the wild Llama which lives in various parts of Patagonia ).

All these items will be made using the highest quality fibre, and will continue our policy of promoting the 'Noble' fibres. *

* Noble fibres include Mohair, Cashmere and all the fibres from the 'Camelid' family : Camel hair, and fibre from the Alpaca, Llama, Vicunha and Guanaco.
