Hiking Socks

Here at the Mohair Sock Company we offer hiking socks made from mohair, these socks are being used by Karl Bushby, the legendary walker who completed a round the world walk of 36000 miles. If our hiking socks can take that sort of treatment then you know they will be suitable for your purposes.

Our lightweight hiking socks are very durable. The mohairs hollow fibres ensure that all moisture is drawn away efficiently from your foot, keeping your feet dry and therefore improving the comfort and keeping them cool.

The original mohair hiking socks that are worn by Karl Bushby on his marathon walk around the world provide comfort and durability. The knee length version of these cushion soled socks are an essential part of a hikers kit and are also popular with skiers, riders or anyone who has a job in the outdoors like gamekeepers or builders.

Our hiking socks are available in navy, blood red, charcoal, green, beige, rhubarb and RAF blue. The socks are 70% mohair and 30% nylon and can be washed at 40 degrees in the washing machine. The lightweight version of the socks are available for £9.95 and the original hikers socks are available for £13.50. There is a small delivery charge but we will ship to most places around the globe.
